Abetone

Abetone town in the province of Pistoia is located in the mountains of Pistoia near the border with Emilia Romagna and is the most important ski resort dell'Appennino Toscano. The country is known as the resort winter thanks to its 60 km of tracks designed by the great champions of skis as Zeno Colò. The slopes offer varying degrees of difficulty for those practice cross-country skiing for those who practice the snow-board and there are also many areas school for beginners. Also in the ski resort are four shelters in which you can take the sun on deck chairs or lunch in using self-service. As if this were not enough Abetone is a famous summer resort also thanks the opportunity to practice sports like tennis, soccer, long walks mountain bike or alternatively interesting walk towards the mountain Open Book. Other things are interesting sull'Abetone Oriented Nature Reserve of Campolino which was created in 1987 to save the presence of spruce or the Botanical Gardens Forest which is dedicated primarily to the typical vegetation Apennine.
